Our Story
Ranney Blair Weidmann is the culmination of decades of expertise and dedication in the home remodeling industry. Our journey began distinctly with two paths—Ranney Blair and Weidmann & Associates.
Founded in 2014 by Peter Ranney and Scott Blair, Ranney Blair started by handling small jobs as a typical bid-build contractor. We recognized the need to provide a more integrated, client-focused service, so we transitioned to a design-build approach. This shift allowed us to offer comprehensive solutions, ensuring every aspect of a project perfectly aligns with our client’s visions and lifestyles.
Weidmann Remodeling was established in 1989 and quickly became one of the most trusted and recognized renovation and remodeling firms in the greater Atlanta area. Known for our commitment to client satisfaction, Weidmann won numerous awards for our innovative designs and exceptional service quality.
In 2023, a strategic consolidation took place. Weidmann Remodeling merged with Ranney Blair Remodeling, creating Ranney Blair Weidmann Remodeling. This partnership has strengthened our capabilities and broadened our reach, ensuring we continue serving the Atlanta area with unparalleled design and remodeling services.

Scott Blair
About Scott
Scott is a former college football player and alumnus of Georgia Tech. At a young age, Scott gravitated to designing, engineering, and building everything from small structures with custom features to building a computer from scratch. His passion for planning and building carried over into his home, ultimately helping develop Ranney Blair to create those unique places for more homeowners. Scott enjoys working on home projects and cheering on all Georgia Tech sports with his wife and daughters in his free time.
Dan Weidmann
About Dan
Dan is a dynamic leader with over 25 years of experience in the remodeling industry. Dan’s background includes a degree in aeronautical and astronautical engineering from Purdue University, six years in the Air Force doing weapon system development and testing, and a JD from The University of Florida. He practiced law before finding his way into the remodeling industry in the mid-90s. Dan brings creative solutions to any problem and is known for his exceptional attention to detail and for creating lifelong clients. Dan and his wife, Ellen, enjoy traveling to watch their youngest daughter play collegiate volleyball.
