This Roswell family needed more than just a kitchen upgrade. They needed a reimagining of their home’s main level. The original kitchen felt dark, cramped, and disconnected from the rest of the living space. By relocating the kitchen, adding a butler’s pantry and walk-in pantry, and improving flow and lighting, the remodel created a more functional and inviting space for cooking, gathering, and keeping an eye on the little one.
The original kitchen was closed off, lacked storage, and didn’t allow for easy conversation or supervision of the family’s young child. High ceilings made the space feel even more disjointed, thanks to a floating soffit and poor lighting. Overall, it wasn’t functional, connected, or comfortable for daily life or entertaining.
We collaborated closely with the homeowners to reimagine the layout, focusing on better visibility, smarter storage solutions, and an abundance of natural light. The design centered on creating an open and airy flow, with a balanced mix of white cabinetry and warm wood tones to add both brightness and warmth.
We demolished the outdated kitchen and breakfast nook to make way for a more open and functional layout. Walls were reconfigured to improve the flow between spaces, and all necessary structural and utility updates were completed, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC adjustments.
After a final walkthrough, the homeowners stepped into a fully transformed main level that now serves as the heart of their home. The new kitchen seamlessly blends beauty and functionality, offering bright, open spaces designed for both everyday living and entertaining.
