The Schrecks and their growing family needed a larger and more functional kitchen for the Roswell home. With two growing kids making meals in the previous kitchen was a difficult task, constantly trading positions to use the refrigerator, stove, and sink. Storage was underutilized, and insufficient island seating made using the previous kitchen stressful.
After having their kitchen remodeled, storage was added to the pantry, and each cabinet was carefully planned. An enlarged cooktop was relocated out of the traffic area, island seating was expanded, and a dedicated beverage center was relocated to a previously unused section of the wall.
The Westlakes were faced with the unique challenge of remodeling a home built in 1853. The previous basement was underutilized, with pockets of space not being used due to the layout. There was a need for a dog wash station, a large wet bar, and a music lab, as well as open space.
What a fun project! A raised dog wash station was added and to cater to the client's wine collection, we incorporated extra wine storage and a modern wine refrigerator. The wet bar was revamped and enlarged. The open area has an electric fireplace, TV, and well-planned storage solutions. Pull the right book on the hidden door and you are let into the music room.
A successful project starts with a good fit of client, project, and contractor. Believing that the best relationships begin with a candid conversation. It starts with the first phone call. The discussion focuses on the client's goals and objectives for both the project and the contractor relationship, as well as our approach to the design, development, and execution of the work. If Ranney Blair Weidmann is a potential fit, an introduction package is mailed, and the first meeting is scheduled.
From our very first phone call…through the design meetings and now project management phase, everyone at Ranney Blair has been extremely patient, knowledgeable, organized and comforting. From day one, we have been extremely impressed with the team’s organization & transparency.
They have remodeled two kitchens and a master bathroom for us. One of our neighbors did their bathroom at the same time as we did but went with a cheaper contractor. It took 12 weeks to finish and a lot of heartache and frustration along the way. Mine only took 6 weeks and with little to no issues. You get what you pay for! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Ranney Blair!!
Highly recommend Ranney Blair for your next home renovation. Highly trustworthy and extremely easy to work with to bring your remodel vision to life in the agreed upon time frame and with high quality end product.
